If you’ve been following this email series from the beginning, you’ll know that we’ve nearly covered all of the traditional card meanings. Remember that these meanings are not absolute, and I strongly believe that they should be used to trigger your intuition, not restrict it. Today, we’ll be looking at The Queens in Tarot.

Welcome to my next mini Tarot lesson. There’s an excitement that bubbles up inside when I see a Page in a client’s Tarot reading. I feel genuinely happy for them when I see it sat amongst the other Tarot cards. My client won’t know it yet, but they are about to experience a breath of fresh air

What a relief! There’s nothing better than putting time and effort into something and seeing it complete. And that’s exactly what the Tens are all about. In the Tarot, the Tens are a sign of completion - one stage of your life has finished for good. It’s done and dusted. It’s put away, never to be seen again… you’re now waiting for The Fool to show up again.

At the end of the day, the best thing we can do to achieve our goals or manifest our highest good is to get out of our own way. Easier said than done This always starts with our thoughts and our self-talk. These create an energy that attracts or repels our true desires.

When our readings turn to the Eights, we find ourselves at a crossroads, the place where experience meets resistance. The Sevens invite us to deepen our understanding through experience - to learn, to test, to expand. The Eights, however, present us with the next phase of growth: the obstacles that must be faced, mastered, and ultimately transformed.

We recently explored all that the Sixes bring to our readings and now it is time to explore the Sevens.

Sometimes we all feel like giving up. Despite our best efforts, we get nowhere and wonder if it’s worth it at all. Some Minor Arcana cards can give you hope if that’s the case. THE SIXES IN TAROT

How many times have you nearly had a ‘Tower moment’? (For those that don’t know, The Tower is a major arcana Tarot card signifying a huge life change… a change that can feel terrifying at first but usually turns out to be the best in the end) The minor arcana cards might not be as dramatic, but they still show us significant steps on our journey. You can also be a little more flexible with the meanings if you’re reading for a client.

Do you ever feel like you’re being thrown around by the storm of life, and all you want is to see the safety of the shore? If a Four shows up in your Tarot card reading, it could indicate that a beautiful golden stretch of sand is not very far away at all.

If a 3 Comes up in a Tarot Reading … A Three Tarot card is quite easy to remember if you think of a way to link the number three to creativity.

If a 2 Comes up in a Tarot Reading… A Two, in any suit, can mean that you’ve got to make a decision. But luckily, it’s not a huge decision, as the Twos sit in the Minor Arcana.

Over the next few blog posts, I’ll be sharing information about the Minor Arcana cards. Although you can actually do Tarot readings with the Major Arcana cards alone, the Minor Arcana can support the concepts the Major Arcana bring up.
