At the end of the day, the best thing we can do to achieve our goals or manifest our highest good is to get out of our own way.
Easier said than done
This always starts with our thoughts and our self-talk. These create an energy that attracts or repels our true desires.
HERE'S HOW I SEE THE NINES IN TAROT
When a Nine Tarot card shows up, you can get excited. It doesn’t mean that the hard work is over; it just means that you are nearly there.
A Nine is a sign from the universe that what you want is not far away at all. Your job is to keep your thoughts and actions in alignment with your highest good, get poised, and ready to receive.
Fine-tune your alignment with your end goal, remove any last-minute internal blocks, and find the missing pieces so that the whole puzzle can finally come together quickly and easily. Think about the things you’ve learnt on your journey so far. Think about how you’ve changed. Talk to yourself kindly. Be proud.
Let’s look at some of the suit-specific meanings and how we can help our clients apply these concepts.

NINE OF CUPS TAROT MEANING
If a Nine of Cups shows up in a reading, it’s good news. Your wishes are about to be fulfilled, you feel satisfied, and emotionally in a good place. Congratulations. Your job is to maintain this feeling.
A good coaching question would be:
What can you do/ what new habit can you create to expand your positivity further?
NINE OF PENTACLES TAROT MEANING
If you see a Nine of Pentacles in a spread, you’re starting to experience abundance. You might be becoming self-sufficient or financially independent. You’re beginning to get a taste of luxury. Feel gratitude for what you are experiencing, so that you can attract more of it into your life.
A good coaching question would be:
How can you maintain a feeling of gratitude and excitement?
NINE OF SWORDS TAROT MEANING
The Nine of Swords is often seen as a fearful, negative card. As I’m sure you know, the Swords represent the mindsets and thoughts. When a Nine of Swords shows up in a reading, all it means is that you are blocking yourself from your final manifestation. You’re likely to be overthinking things, feeling anxious, focusing on failure, and losing sleep. Trust that your dreams are closer than you think, and re-align your thoughts with positivity, excitement, and gratitude.
A good coaching question would be:
What thoughts are you consistently having that don’t match the energy of your desires?
NINE OF WANDS TAROT MEANING
If you see a Nine of Wands, the Tarot is telling you to be more resilient and to ignore or overcome any blocks on the path to your highest good.
Perhaps it’s time to dig deep and find those reserves of determination to power you through. Sometimes we can be thrown off course by the opinions and actions of others, and we need to set some boundaries to bring our manifestations into fruition.
A good coaching question would be:
What blocks am I perceiving to be bigger than they are? How can I move past them?
THE 9'S IN TAROT ARE POSTIVE
Whichever Nine you see, it’s always a good sign that you are inches away from success. All you need to do is make some minor changes to bring yourself more fully into alignment.
Remember to look at a Nine Tarot card in the context of the cards around it.
Personally, I think it’s a good idea to encourage your client to write down the answers, insights, and action steps from their Tarot reading before they leave.
