The World Tarot Card Meaning

The World Major Arcana Tarot Card by Richard Knight
The World Major Arcana Tarot Card by Richard Knight

What does The World Tarot Card Mean?

Have you reached fulfilment?

They say all great journeys must come to an end.

The World is the 20th and final card in the Major Arcana.

The World Tarot Card Represents A Positive Ending

Maybe your client has been on a fun-packed adventure. Maybe they have been on an inner journey shaped by struggle. Either way, The World Tarot card represents a happy completion.

Have you noticed this?

It’s a very beautiful card. In the Rider-Waite deck, a woman floats in the sky, perfectly balanced, surrounded by an unbroken wreath. Clients pick up on the meaning subconsciously.

The World Tarot Card Feels Like A Reassuring Hug Or Even A Sigh Of Relief

The themes that accompany The World Tarot card are things like:

- balance

- wholeness

- accomplishment

All goals are realised, and the best outcome for all is achieved.

It’s a perfect ending.

But it’s not over yet….

The endless cycles of time continue on, so The World card is a chance for your client to reflect before they start a brand new cycle.

If The World Tarot Card Shows Up In A Reading…

You can help your client do this by asking coaching questions like:

  • What has gone well?

  • What great progress have you made?

Ideally, you will help your client acknowledge their strengths and any new skills and insights they have gained from completing, or nearly completing their journey.

This way, your client can move forward from a much better place

Working in this way is much more beneficial to your client than just ‘predicting’ their future.

You can also use coaching questions for your own personal readings.
