What does The Fool Tarot card mean?

Every journey starts with a decision.
Often at the beginning of our spiritual journey, everything feels scary. Do we trust our intuition? Do we trust ourselves? Are we going mad?
The Fool is the first major arcana card. And it’s not a card of stupidity!
The Fool Tarot Card Shows An Exciting Journey Is About To Begin
The Fool is one of the bravest cards in the deck. Without The Fool, the rest of the journey can’t take place.
This is because The Fool has decided to step into the unknown. Not only that, but with their heart wide open.
The Fool Is Optimistic, With A Beginner’s Mind
‘New’ can be terrifying for some people. Perhaps you’ve felt that way in the past when you decided to develop your gifts or start a spiritual business.
A beginner’s mind doesn’t mean that you have to start from scratch. You can bring your existing knowledge and wisdom into anything you do. But The Fool asks you to be curious, optimistic, trusting of what lies ahead and perhaps even a little bit playful on your new journey.
This is where coaching and Tarot become best friends
Instead of seeing a new journey, or the unknown as something to fear, you can coach your client to see it as an adventure.
Ask them coaching questions like:
What new adventure are you ready to take?
Which new path is beckoning you forward?
This way, you can prepare your clients by helping them adopt a positive, more empowering mindset.
When you read Tarot cards for a client in this way, they become very appreciative and start recommending you to others.
If you’ve drawn The Fool card for yourself, take some time to journal your responses to the questions above.
Enjoy your readings this week!
