ARE TAROT READINGS 100% ACCURATE?
You’ve just had a Tarot reading. You got your answer. Now… can you trust it?
It’s normal to doubt whether the information your Tarot reader has given you is 100% accurate.
After all, you’re putting your trust in them to help you with direction, clarity, and perhaps answers to your most pressing problems.

FAQS
SO, HOW ACCURATE ARE TAROT READINGS?
There are many reasons why Tarot readings might not be accurate. And there are many ways that Tarot readers can develop their accuracy. Let’s explore this.
CAN TAROT CARDS PREDICT THE FUTURE ACCURATELY?
The real answer to this is… sometimes. Tarot cards are often used to predict he future, but in all honesty, this is not the best way to use them. Tarot cards can read the client’s current energy and project a potential outcome or timeline, based on that energy. Obviously, there are many factors that affect that outcome that are beyond the control of the Tarot reader. So that’s why I found a better way to use Tarot cards. I train my students to use them as a coaching tool.
When you use Tarot cards to coach others, the client’s success in life is not dependent on external events which may or may not happen. It’s dependent on the client’s own sense of clarity and confidence to move forward in a way which fulfils them. As a Tarot coach, you can be the catalyst for this.
And the other benefit is your client won’t be left asking “Why didn’t my Tarot reading come true?”, but instead will be asking themselves “How can I make my dreams come true?”.
WHY ARE TAROT READINGS WRONG SOMETIMES
As a Tarot reader, many factors can determine the accuracy of your Tarot reading. Some of these are down to the client:
Is your client emotionally and energetically all over the place?
Are they crystal clear on the question they’d like your help with?
Are they secretly hoping for a particular outcome?
If any of these are true, it’s your job as a Tarot reader to set realistic expectations and help them get clear on what they actually want to know. What will help them move forward the most?
The other factor affecting the accuracy of a Tarot reading is you!
Every Tarot reader has some level of bias. No one is completely clear. This means that if a Tarot reader has some prejudices about relationships, they may interpret the card meanings unknowingly, imprinting their own prejudices onto the reading.
The solution to this is to consistently work on your own personal and professional growth. This way, you can become more aware of your own ” Tarot reader bias” and catch it before you start projecting it onto your own clients' readings. It's worth noting that 99.9% of Tarot readers don’t do this deliberately; it ’s an unconscious phenomenon.
HOW CAN TAROT READERS BECOME MORE ACCURATE?
The best thing you can do as a Tarot reader before the reading is to get yourself into a calm, clear-minded, and grounded state. If your thoughts and energy are all over the place, you won’t be in a good place to serve your client, and your intuition will be compromised.
MORE FACTORS THAT AFFECT TAROT READING ACCURACY
Why do some Tarot readings feel so accurate? It’s likely that the Tarot reader has trained to a high level and has accumulated many practice hours (paid or unpaid, it doesn’t matter). These Tarot readers tend to understand people more deeply, are good listeners, and can intuit the stories - which are unique to each client - that the Tarot cards are trying to tell.
ARE ONLINE TAROT READINGS ACCURATE?
It depends. Pre-recorded Tarot readings designed for a collective of people are the least likely to be accurate. These types of Tarot readings may be able to read the energy, but with so many people in the collective, with so many different questions, beliefs, and unique situations, it’s highly unlikely that they will have a 100% accuracy rate.
Other online Tarot readings can be more accurate. For example, if you have a specific question in mind and you ask an app to generate a digital card for you, or if you are working with a real Tarot reader who works online, or via phone or email.
HOW TO TELL IF A TAROT READER IS LEGITIMATE
One more thing: not all Tarot readers have people’s best interests at heart. A genuine Tarot reader will never mind if you ask them who they trained with, and for how long, and how many clients they’ve seen in the past. They’ll actually be proud to tell you. Most Tarot readers love talking about all things Tarot, and about all of the courses they’ve done and experiences they’ve had.
Someone who works on themselves and puts time and effort into developing their intuition and skills will be a much more accurate Tarot reader after six months than someone who has been reading for years but does not strive to be better, more self-aware, and more of service to others.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Tarot cards may not be able to predict the future accurately because they read the current energy and potential outcomes, which depend on many external factors. They are better used as a coaching tool, which is what I teach my students.
A Tarot reading is more likely to be inaccurate if the client or Tarot reader is not focused and calm.
The most accurate Tarot readers are well-trained and have accumulated many hours of practice with clients.
Online Tarot readings for a collective of people are the least likely to be accurate because so many people exist in that collective.
FAQS
Why was my Tarot reading wrong?
Your Tarot reader will be able to tell you about potential futures or timelines, but what you do with that information is up to you. A good Tarot reader will coach you to take action towards your own goals and overcome fear so that you can take opportunities that show up.
How can I get the most accurate answer in a Tarot reading?
Make sure you have one very specific question. Your Tarot reader should ask you for this at the beginning of the session. If your mind and energy are all over the place, it will be harder to do a reading for you, and you may risk things being misinterpreted.
How do I know if my Tarot reader is genuine?
Ask them where they trained, how long the training was, and how many clients they have worked with. If they are genuine, they will be happy to tell you.
